Description

  • Design, build, and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and information.
  • Define security requirements and create security architectures for on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, remediate, and reduce security risks across cloud systems, software, and processes.
  • Write and maintain clear security documentation, procedures, reports, and escalation processes.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, test, maintain, and improve security tools and services.
  • Develop technical solutions and automation to strengthen security and reduce repetitive manual work.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert supporting Security Analysts and external security partners on complex issues.
  • Monitor systems and analyze logs to detect unusual or potentially harmful activity.
  • Help evaluate and select security tools that meet business needs.
  • Provide after-hours support through an on-call rotation and respond to urgent security incidents.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience working with multiple cloud services.
  • Practical experience with networking and systems such as Elastic, OKTA, IDM, AD, JAMF, Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
  • Experience responding to security incidents and analyzing system logs.
  • Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT or systems teams within a software or cloud-based company.
  • Experience creating and working with procedures, reports, SLAs, and escalation processes.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in fast-changing environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, including excellent written and spoken English.
  • Valid CompTIA CySA+ certification.
  • Availability to support US business hours and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
