Description

  • Provide operational support for SecOps alerts, triage, and maintenance.
  • Investigate cybersecurity incidents and support security investigations.
  • Monitor email and ticketing systems for security issues and drive them to resolution.
  • Troubleshoot SecOps-owned tools and infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Document SOPs, playbooks, and walkthroughs for security processes.
  • Work with SecOps and stakeholders to test systems and uncover vulnerabilities.
  • Document, monitor, and report on security systems and processes to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Evaluate, select, test, and maintain security tools and solutions.
  • Partner with IT and systems teams on hardening and configuration management.
  • Analyze logs, transactional data, and other outputs to detect malicious or anomalous activity.
  • Stay current on adversary TTPs and security events/news.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and support US hours.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience on IT or systems teams in a SaaS/cloud company.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-cloud service environments.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP, Elastic, OKTA, IDM, AD, JAMF, and Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Experience responding to security incidents and performing log analysis.
  • Expertise in system security engineering or information security engineering.
  • Experience building and maintaining internal and external systems.
  • Knowledge of operating system security across platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, networking technologies, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience establishing procedures, reports, SLAs, and escalations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Valid CompTIA CySA+ certification.
  • Knowledge of Python or Go is a big advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and prioritization skills.
