Description

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions for EHR systems and adjacent healthcare applications.
  • Build browser-based automations in Python using Playwright or UiPath for web-based workflows.
  • Create reusable automation components, frameworks, and libraries to support scalable delivery.
  • Own automation projects from process discovery through implementation and production support.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation and deployment guides.
  • Collaborate with hospital IT, clinical operations staff, QA, DevOps, and engineering teammates to prioritize and deliver automation work.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and build business cases for new automation initiatives.
  • Work directly with clinical stakeholders to understand, map, and automate complex workflows.
  • Use AI coding assistants as part of the daily development workflow.
  • Support deployment and operational monitoring of automations in partnership with DevOps.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience developing automation solutions, such as RPA, browser automation, or workflow automation.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with at least one automation framework such as Playwright, Selenium, or UiPath.
  • Experience reviewing, validating, and refining AI-generated code using sound software engineering practices.
  • Experience with UiPath Studio and Orchestrator, including REFramework, queue-based processing, and error handling patterns.
  • Solid understanding of REST API design and integration, including JSON and OAuth.
  • Experience with SQL databases and data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfort working from the command line and in Unix/Linux shell environments.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical approaches to clinical and business stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience in healthcare or another regulated industry, familiarity with EHR systems and clinical workflows, knowledge of HL7/FHIR, AWS or other cloud platforms, serverless patterns, AI-assisted development tools, UiPath certification, or revenue cycle/claims/clinical data integration experience.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States full-time without current or future visa sponsorship.

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience, with a target range of $145,000 to $175,000.
