Description

  • Credential and re-credential LifeMD providers with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance payors.
  • Maintain credentialing matrices for LifeMD providers across markets and states.
  • Follow up with insurance payors on credentialing matters and monitor application status.
  • Support provider onboarding and offboarding by coordinating with other LifeMD departments.
  • Assist providers with payor enrollment and ancillary credentialing questions.
  • Create, maintain, and update insurance payor and credentialing rosters.
  • Check payor websites for accurate directory listings and make regular updates.
  • Prepare memos, forms, documents, and other routine department correspondence.
  • Handle confidential provider and operational information with discretion.
  • Work independently and collaboratively on special, recurring, and ongoing projects assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • Credentialing certification and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience performing payor enrollment and registration functions.
  • Strong understanding of payor enrollment processes and healthcare regulations/compliance requirements.
  • Preferred certifications such as CPCS and/or CPMSM through NAMSS.
  • Proficiency with credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on complex data.
  • Strong written, verbal, and conceptual presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic growth environment.
  • Creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, teamwork, and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and reliability in reporting to work on time for scheduled hours.
