Description

  • Secure Life360's access to frontier AI models through access controls, policy enforcement, and authorization patterns.
  • Build and own secure patterns for MCP access and tool-use authorization across engineering teams.
  • Design the identity and authorization model for autonomous agents, including service identities, scoped credentials, and least-privilege access.
  • Develop agentic observability, telemetry pipelines, and behavioral monitoring for AI systems.
  • Implement defenses against prompt injection and other adversarial attack classes.
  • Lead security design reviews and shape access controls, data boundary enforcement, and abuse detection for the shared AI end-user platform.
  • Define access control and data governance for retrieval-augmented and reasoning systems so sensitive data is not exposed improperly.
  • Build AI supply chain integrity controls, including model provenance, service vetting, and dependency controls.
  • Partner with Privacy, Legal, and Data Platform on controls for pipelines involving real-time location data, family relationship data, and data involving minors.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of security engineering experience with depth in application security, cloud security, IAM, or detection.
  • Proven track record of building security controls that earn adoption and hold up in production.
  • Hands-on experience shipping security controls as a practitioner, not just advising on security design.
  • Hands-on fluency with LLM and agentic systems, including prompt pipelines, RAG architectures, and multi-agent orchestration.
  • Solid grounding in IAM for non-human systems, including service identities, OAuth, secrets management, RBAC/ABAC, and least-privilege architecture at scale.
  • Experience with production telemetry and detection, including building detections and response paths without established playbooks.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and in-flight builds, including writing first-draft standards, testing approaches, and scaling what works.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to challenge risky decisions constructively across engineering, product, and security leadership.
  • Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, OWASP LLM Top 10, and adjacent compliance environments for consumer data at scale.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Experience with frontier model API security or tool-use authorization patterns, preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI, preferred.
  • Familiarity with knowledge graph architectures, vector stores, or RAG systems and their access control challenges, preferred.
  • Red teaming or adversarial testing experience against AI systems, preferred.
  • Background in consumer technology or another domain with high personal data sensitivity, preferred.
  • Experience designing or reviewing security for internal enterprise AI platforms serving non-technical users, preferred.
