Description

  • Architect, implement, and maintain production-grade, low-latency ML services.
  • Build ML systems for ranking models, recommendation algorithms, and forecasting methods.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other teams to define solutions to business and infrastructure problems.
  • Design and run experiments to evaluate model ideas and measure improvements.
  • Advise on data strategy and help provide datasets for future data science projects.
  • Deliver ML models to agreed engineering standards so they are resilient, scalable, and future-proof.
  • Enhance the AWS-native MLOps platform and support high-availability, low-latency inference.
  • Contribute positively to the team culture through learning, knowledge sharing, and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.

Requirements

  • Solid foundation in traditional machine learning techniques and the model lifecycle.
  • Practical experience handling class imbalance, hyperparameter tuning, and overfitting.
  • Demonstrable experience designing, deploying, and monitoring ML services.
  • Strong Python programming skills for production-ready, well-structured, and documented code.
  • Experience working with large datasets and proficiency with SQL.
  • Exposure to Snowflake and dbt is a plus.
  • Curious, data-driven, and pragmatic approach to solving customer and business problems.
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative environments and work effectively across teams.
  • Positive, optimistic mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and share knowledge.
  • Experience working on an e-commerce site or in a fast-growing consumer-facing startup is preferred.
  • Experience working in a fully remote setting is preferred.
