Description

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies, innovation initiatives, and performance plans for multiple client accounts.
  • Manage a portfolio of 4-6 SEO accounts while overseeing projects, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for SEO, leading recurring status and reporting calls.
  • Build trusted client relationships by communicating SEO strategy and execution clearly and without jargon.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, measure impact, and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Use SEO and analytics platforms to inform decisions and translate complex data into recommendations.
  • Build and maintain content systems such as topic clusters, pillar pages, internal linking, and schema.
  • Research emerging search and AI trends to refine SEO approaches and test new optimization methods.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across measurement, paid media, and creative to execute strategies.
  • Support the sales team with SEO proposals and audits aligned to client goals.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of agency experience.
  • 5+ years of overall relevant marketing or SEO experience.
  • Previous experience at a performance marketing agency delivering client results.
  • Comfort working directly with clients and serving as the face of the SEO engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with AI search optimization and testing, not just theoretical knowledge.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex client situations and challenging SEO problems.
  • Experience building SEO strategies across multiple industries and tying SEO results to business outcomes.
  • Expertise in content strategy informed by audience, keyword, and competitor research.
  • Ability to create content briefs for content production teams.
  • Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and similar SEO tools.
  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Adaptable, feedback-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
