Description

  • Build modular, well-tested SQL models in dbt, including macros, incremental strategies, and performance tuning.
  • Refactor and optimize dbt pipelines to keep the warehouse fast and cost-efficient as data volume grows.
  • Maintain and extend custom ingestion workflows and orchestration, including scripts in Go and Python.
  • Develop pipelines that power internal intelligence features such as customer segmentation, sentiment classification, and qualitative research tools.
  • Implement automation workflows that use LLMs for data classification and insights generation within the warehouse.
  • Own reverse ETL flows that push critical business signals back into GTM tools for Sales, Marketing, and Success.
  • Strengthen data governance through lineage, documentation, data contracts, and quality testing.
  • Contribute through code reviews, documentation, and enforcement of engineering standards.
  • Partner with data, engineering, backend, Sales/RevOps, Marketing, Product, and AI Engineering stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Significant experience building and managing complex dbt projects.
  • Strong experience with Google BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse.
  • Strong understanding of partitioning, clustering, and cost optimization.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Ability or strong interest to work with Go for ingestion scripts.
  • Experience with CI/CD for data and an analytics-as-code approach.
  • Experience with Airflow and Docker is a significant plus.
  • Strong focus on documentation, data contracts, and data lineage.
  • Experience working with modern AI/ML tools such as BQML or Vertex AI is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a remote, cross-functional environment.
