Description

  • Own end-to-end handling of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), deletion requests, and data access queries in line with GDPR and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain and continuously improve DSAR intake, processing, and response workflows.
  • Reduce manual effort by applying automation where possible across legal operations processes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to use AI and automation tools to improve accuracy, speed, and consistency.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, Finance, and HR, to fulfil data requests and support cross-functional compliance.
  • Support the General Counsel with ad hoc legal operations tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in legal, paralegal, or in-house legal support roles, privacy/compliance/data protection, data quality/data governance, or legal ops/process automation.
  • Solid understanding of GDPR, data subject rights, and DSAR obligations, or a strong track record of quickly learning complex regulatory frameworks.
  • Curiosity about AI-assisted workflows and legal tech, with an eye for operational value.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requests with competing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and German (C1/C2).
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote, async-first environment.
  • Hands-on experience handling DSARs at a SaaS or tech company (nice to have).
  • Background in data governance, data quality, or working with engineering/product teams on data flows (nice to have).
  • Experience building or improving legal ops processes from the ground up (nice to have).
