Description

  • Lead UX design across Later's product portfolio, including Later Influence, Later Social, and Mavely.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 5 to 6 UX designers.
  • Partner with product managers, engineering leaders, and senior executives to align design with product and technology strategy.
  • Translate business strategy and customer insight into a design roadmap that supports growth and commercial outcomes.
  • Drive rapid prototyping and experimentation by turning requirements into functional browser-based concepts.
  • Build and codify design systems, UI/UX patterns, and standards that scale across products.
  • Pioneer AI-native UX workflows, including agentic interactions, AI trust mechanisms, and failure states.
  • Champion accessibility, usability, and overall design craft across the portfolio.
  • Build a lightweight, repeatable user research practice and translate findings into priorities.
  • Recruit, develop, and coach design talent while fostering a culture of ownership and curiosity.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product design or UX.
  • 5+ years leading and growing a design team.
  • Experience designing for coherence across multiple products or teams.
  • Strong technical fluency and experience partnering with engineering on platform architecture, APIs, data models, frontend frameworks, and implementation tradeoffs.
  • Experience building or scaling a design system, pattern library, or shared UX standards.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring designers at different seniority levels.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AI-assisted design, prototyping, and development tools.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, marketplace, or platform products is a plus.
  • Experience in influencer marketing, creator economy, or social/commerce-adjacent spaces is a bonus.
  • Remote position; travel required 1-2 times per quarter.

  • $220,000 - $275,000 USD OTE (base + bonus).
