Description

  • Build a documented, repeatable Amazon SEO framework covering title structure, bullet structure, product descriptions, A+ content, backend search terms, and keyword research methodology.
  • Create and maintain a clear content hierarchy for listings, including what goes into titles, what drives visibility, and where each keyword class should live.
  • Develop and publish SOPs, record Loom walkthroughs in English, and train the catalog team on new SEO standards.
  • Own SEO execution for priority ASINs, including optimizing new listings at creation and improving existing high-revenue listings across the catalog.
  • Work through approximately 2,500 to 2,800 ASINs by prioritizing the highest-revenue and lowest-quality listings for SEO improvements.
  • Track and report before-and-after performance for optimized ASINs, including rank movement, session count, conversion rate, and unit velocity.
  • Take ownership of the DataDive workflow, standardize keyword research operations, and build product-category keyword libraries that support both SEO and PPC.
  • Coordinate with the PPC lead to unify SEO and PPC keyword research so efforts are not duplicated.
  • Identify and coordinate fixes for SEO-adjacent catalog issues such as weak titles, missing backend attributes, suppressed detail pages, variation problems, and inconsistent product data.
  • Support catalog quality improvements by partnering on image standards, sourcing guidelines, and a centralized image-source database.
  • Deliver weekly SEO performance reports and monthly rollups that summarize progress, backlog, priorities, and catalog-level outcomes.
  • Maintain a living SEO scorecard for leadership review and stay current on Amazon search algorithm changes and indexing best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Amazon SEO and listing optimization experience, ideally with an Amazon reseller, agency, or aggregator.
  • Deep proficiency with DataDive or equivalent tools such as Helium 10 Cerebro and Magnet, Jungle Scout, or SmartScout.
  • Demonstrated ability to write Amazon titles, bullets, descriptions, and backend search terms that improve rank.
  • Portfolio examples of Amazon SEO work are required for the interview.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon A9 and COSMO behavior for reseller listings versus brand-owner listings.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon bulk operations including flat files, listing loader, Variation Wizard, Amazon Master files, and variation family fixes.
  • Comfort working in large catalogs with 1,000+ ASINs and constrained brand assets.
  • Ability to source images, color data, and product information from supplier sites and brand pages when needed.
  • Excellent written English and the ability to produce SOPs, Loom walkthroughs, and structured written updates.
  • Strong working proficiency with AI tools, especially Claude, and regular use of AI for keyword expansion, competitor analysis, copy drafting, SOP creation, and workflow automation.
  • Prompt engineering skill to generate high-quality Amazon SEO outputs with minimal back-and-forth.
  • Nice to have: prior experience in athletic, apparel, or footwear categories on Amazon.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with PPC fundamentals so SEO and PPC keyword libraries can be unified.
  • Nice to have: experience connecting Claude or similar tools to Google Drive, Gmail, Asana, Slack, or other data sources.
  • Nice to have: multi-marketplace SEO experience, including Amazon CA, Amazon MX, TikTok Shop, Temu, or Shein.
  • Remote role open to candidates from any country, including the Philippines, Serbia, and Colombia.
  • Working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
