Description

  • Reconstruct 3D power grid networks using LiDAR point clouds and GIS data.
  • Place poles, lines, conductors, and other 3D objects according to real-world layouts.
  • Align 2D map data with 3D models.
  • Label high-resolution drone imagery to identify grid components and structural defects.
  • Apply feedback to improve the accuracy and reliability of infrastructure models.

Requirements

  • Strong spatial reasoning and comfort navigating 3D environments.
  • English proficiency at B1 level for reading instructions, completing training, and communicating with teammates.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn from feedback.
  • Computer with an Intel i7-11800H or equivalent/better CPU, dedicated NVIDIA T1200-or-better GPU, and at least 16 GB RAM; 32 GB preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of power grids or experience with LiDAR data is preferred.
  • Background in GIS, geodesy, cartography, land management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
