Description

  • Own end-to-end solution architecture for complex, software-heavy automation systems from concept through execution.
  • Lead early requirements definition, including scope, assumptions, constraints, and risk identification.
  • Validate solution feasibility, performance, and integration across hardware, controls, and software platforms.
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point during execution and support issue resolution, trade studies, and corrective actions.
  • Partner with software and technology vendors to validate capabilities, limitations, and testing strategies.
  • Support commissioning and ramp-up planning to ensure system readiness and clear operational handoff.
  • Capture lessons learned and feed improvements back into standards, templates, and repeatable solution patterns.
  • Work directly with client-facing project teams to prevent late-stage surprises that affect schedule, margin, and customer confidence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in warehouse automation.
  • Proven track record in client-facing pre-sales engineering.
  • Proven ability to learn, design, and implement effective business processes and systems.
  • Proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives with sustained results and embedded behaviors.
  • Ability to travel to KPI clients up to 25% as needed.
  • Experience working with software and technology vendors is preferred.
  • Experience with emulation and simulation testing strategies is preferred.
