Description

  • Lead field service teams delivering on-site routine service, commissioning support, brownfield upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Oversee support for new systems, including mechanical and electrical installations and commissioning engineering.
  • Manage upgrades, expansions, recontrols, preventative maintenance, and equipment and site audits for existing systems.
  • Oversee PLC programming and integration for system modifications.
  • Schedule, train, and develop the Field Service Engineering team.
  • Work with Sales to create quotes for preventative maintenance, retrofits, corrective maintenance, and launch support.
  • Manage and create departmental budgets.
  • Resolve customer issues by coordinating engineering and other internal teams as needed.
  • Conduct resource planning to maximize productivity and service delivery.
  • Ensure KPI targets and customer expectations are met or exceeded while serving as a trusted advisor internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in technical or engineering field service support.
  • 7+ years of direct experience managing leaders and agents.
  • Experience in material handling or automation.
  • Expert knowledge of palletizers, high-speed sorting and conveying systems, including MDR, pallet and tote conveying, sorters, and PLC controls.
  • Demonstrated success leading field service and engineering groups.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers in stressful situations and high-pressure negotiations.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer relationship-building ability.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain staff.
  • Ability to travel to KPI and customer facilities as required, up to 40%.
