Description

  • Own and lead UX research activities across discovery, concept validation, and usability phases.
  • Plan, conduct, and synthesize user interviews, usability testing, stakeholder interviews, and journey mapping.
  • Create personas, user journeys, service blueprints, and research reports that translate findings into clear outputs.
  • Proactively identify and recruit users to participate in research through clients, internal teams, or customer success.
  • Translate research insights into product opportunities and design inputs for cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and front-end teams throughout the design process.
  • Help shape and scale the research practice, including mentoring junior team members when needed.
  • Identify new opportunities for research within existing client engagements to extend project reach.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of hands-on UX research experience, excluding internships or academic experience.
  • Direct experience conducting research for enterprise or B2B products such as SaaS, healthcare, platforms, or internal tools.
  • Comfort working with US-based users and stakeholders, with the ability to adapt research communication accordingly.
  • Strong system-level thinking with the ability to map workflows, identify gaps, and untangle complex journeys.
  • Ability to handle open-ended, ambiguous briefs and independently drive the research process.
  • Familiarity with journey maps, service blueprints, or ecosystem maps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting research to cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in healthcare, automation, or other complex, high-stakes domains is preferred.
  • Exposure to continuous discovery practices alongside product teams is preferred.
  • Comfort engaging with product owners and client stakeholders to shape research direction and priorities is preferred.
