Description

  • Develop, ship, and operate the core platform (Ruby on Rails, Next.js, and Python services) to enhance a WebRTC-based telehealth product.
  • Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end features, taking work through the full lifecycle from ideation to maintenance.
  • Collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams to solve user problems and drive positive business outcomes.
  • Balance and optimize for performance, observability, reliability, maintainability, security, and accessibility.
  • Leverage continuous integration and delivery best practices to iterate on product objectives and deploy changes safely.
  • Partner with engineering teammates in a highly collaborative, team-based environment and take accountability for your work.
  • Work with container-based, cloud-native systems and contribute to operational excellence of platform services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional engineering experience in a product-driven environment.
  • Fluency with Ruby on Rails (or equivalent full-stack frameworks), TypeScript/Next.js, and/or Python, or a strong engineering background that enables rapid ramp-up.
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end experiences and take features from ideation through production and maintenance.
  • Experience shipping maintainable, well-tested code and a strong quality mindset.
  • Familiarity with container-based systems in a cloud-native environment.
  • Comfort with agile processes, data-informed development, reliability practices, and responsible experimentation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) is a plus.

  • Base salary range $150,000 to $200,000 annually.
