Description

  • Integrate Kontakt.io with hospital systems such as EHR/EMR, ADT, nurse call, staffing, and other operational platforms.
  • Support and validate integrations using APIs, HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data exchange methods.
  • Map real clinical workflows to system data flows and configuration settings.
  • Partner closely with Deployment Project Managers on implementation, integration testing, go‑live, and stabilization activities.
  • Participate in onsite or remote customer sessions to gather requirements, troubleshoot, and validate behavior.
  • Act as a technical bridge between hospital IT, clinical stakeholders, and internal teams, explaining integration behavior, limitations, and tradeoffs.
  • Diagnose and resolve integration issues in production environments and support post‑deployment optimization and expansion use cases.
  • Document integration patterns, risks, and best practices to improve repeatability and reduce deployment risk.
  • Provide grounded feedback to Product and Engineering to shape integration standards, tooling, and deployment playbooks.

Requirements

  • Experience working with hospital IT systems or clinical environments.
  • Hands‑on integration experience with APIs, HL7, FHIR, or similar healthcare data exchange technologies.
  • Strong understanding of clinical and operational workflows and how they map to system behavior.
  • Comfort operating in live hospital environments where failures have real consequences.
  • Clear communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Bias toward ownership, follow‑through, and pragmatic problem‑solving.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Bonus: experience with RTLS, IoT, or healthcare operations technology.
  • Bonus: prior deployment, implementation, or solutions engineering experience; background in biomedical engineering, health informatics, or healthcare IT.
