Description

  • Moderate live chat during auctions and live shopping events.
  • Maintain active chat participation to support the flow of each auction.
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to viewer messages in real time.
  • Keep chat relevant, positive, and aligned with the brand tone.
  • Prompt viewers to participate using engagement techniques and call-to-action messaging.
  • Encourage passive viewers to become active bidders or participants.
  • Welcome and onboard new viewers throughout the live show.
  • Reinforce urgency with countdowns, prompts, and bidding callouts.
  • Support the host in maintaining a fast-paced, high-energy live environment.
  • Promote upcoming shows and encourage repeat attendance and ongoing engagement.

Requirements

  • Excellent written English with clear, fast, and confident communication.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in real time.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure live settings.
  • Strong typing speed and responsiveness.
  • Ability to follow structured processes while adapting quickly when needed.
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home working setup.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Previous experience in live chat moderation, customer support, or online community management is desirable.
  • Experience with live selling, auctions, or social commerce platforms is desirable.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Shopify, Gorgias, or live streaming platforms is desirable.
  • Experience working remotely within international teams is desirable.
  • Interest in e-commerce, live shopping, or digital engagement is desirable.
