Description

  • Manage relationships with customer leaders at all levels and serve as a trusted day-to-day advisor.
  • Develop project timelines, implementation steps, communication plans, governance frameworks, and change management plans.
  • Ensure high-quality execution of project deliverables and oversee scope against the statement of work or engagement letter.
  • Identify and pursue change orders when project scope expands.
  • Guide clients through charge capture, CDM, billing workflows, and reconciliation best practices.
  • Support automation opportunities within EMRs such as Epic, Cerner, and Meditech to reduce manual work.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on CMS, Medicare/Medicaid, and commercial payer rules to support compliance.
  • Develop and manage internal project finance processes, including customer invoicing and billing support.
  • Track project benefits and customer ROI, and manage related reporting and follow-through.
  • Coordinate project meetings, agendas, minutes, action items, and next steps to keep engagements moving forward.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a health-related field is required.
  • MBA, MHA, and/or MPH is highly desirable.
  • 3-6 years of deep healthcare experience is required.
  • Clinical experience in radiology, cardiology, perioperative services, emergency medicine, or nursing is a strong advantage.
  • Previous experience in a professional services or consulting role is essential.
  • Expertise in hospital revenue cycle management, especially revenue integrity, is required.
  • Strong technical knowledge in your area of expertise is expected.
  • Relevant licensure or certifications such as RN, BSN, CCS, CPC, COC, CRCR, CIRCC, or RHIA are expected.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams are required.
  • Exceptional financial and analytical skills are required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior sales or business development experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to client sites as needed is required.
