Description

  • Build end-to-end product experiences that connect social channels such as Instagram DMs to Klaviyo’s core platform.
  • Develop supporting APIs and services that ingest, transform, and route social events and traffic.
  • Capture and surface high-intent profile, consent, and engagement data from social interactions.
  • Contribute to design discussions and help shape architectural decisions for new features and systems.
  • Ship well-designed, thoroughly tested features with a focus on reliability, performance, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data partners across multiple teams.
  • Work across the stack on customer-facing surfaces, internal analytics tools, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Support the expansion of Klaviyo’s social growth platform beyond initial Instagram auto-reply experiences.
  • Build smarter targeting and personalization based on profile and event data.
  • Create new ways to send social traffic to high-conversion destinations such as landing pages and onsite modules.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
  • Proven track record of building high-quality products and systems with clean, maintainable code.
  • Experience building end-to-end software solutions or deep experience with both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Familiarity with code reviews and robust testing practices.
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with Python and related technologies, preferred.
  • Experience with React and related technologies, preferred.
  • Background in digital marketing or customer data software, preferred.
  • Exposure to machine learning concepts or applications, preferred.
  • Experience building cloud-native solutions, ideally on AWS, preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $116,000 to $174,000 USD for US locations.
  • Eligibility for the company’s annual cash bonus plan.
  • Potential equity compensation and sign-on payments.

  • Support for work that may include up to 10% travel with advance coordination.
