Description

  • Design and produce publication-quality materials such as briefs, fact sheets, infographics, toolkits, report layouts, and templates.
  • Develop data visualizations and infographics with the Research and Data Analyst.
  • Create graphics and visual assets for social media, webinars, and events with the Communications Specialist.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent visual style and template library aligned with project branding.
  • Prepare print-ready and web-ready files that meet Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Manage version control and production timelines for design deliverables.
  • Incorporate client and reviewer feedback through revision cycles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional portfolio.
  • At least 4 years of professional design experience, preferably for government, nonprofit, or research organizations.
  • Demonstrated graphic design and illustration experience with a portfolio of published materials.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with the TANF program and its audiences.
  • Awareness of marriage and family-strengthening subject matter.
  • Working knowledge of Section 508 accessible-document design.
  • Strong ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visuals.
  • Experience designing for federal agencies or human-services programs (preferred).
  • Data-visualization and infographic specialization (preferred).
  • Motion-graphics or short-form video capability (preferred).
