Description

  • Create bespoke, original, and industry-leading VFX for AAA console titles.
  • Develop set-piece, ambient, and gameplay-related visual effects that add unique character to each product.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to deliver an efficient, stable, state-of-the-art VFX pipeline.
  • Pre-visualize and prototype cutting-edge VFX techniques.
  • Document and communicate clear technical guidelines for VFX creation and real-time implementation.
  • Champion VFX opportunities that enhance the game and player experience.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of innovative game production technologies and their capabilities and limitations.
  • Work with others productively and follow direction to support project goals.

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of production experience as a VFX artist in the games industry on AAA console titles.
  • Advanced skills in Maya and game engines.
  • Understanding of shaders and the rendering pipeline as it relates to VFX.
  • Experience with or understanding of Houdini is a distinct advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of VFX principles, including timing and staging.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to accept and follow directions and collaborate effectively.
  • A VFX reel demonstrating outstanding visual and technical ability.
  • An exceptional eye and drive for quality and detail.
  • Must have relevant working rights for Malaysia or Indonesia.
  • Sponsorship and relocation are not offered.
