Description

  • Lead and develop a controlling team of up to two employees across the Americas.
  • Direct timely, accurate statutory financial statement preparation under Local GAAP.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual regional management reporting.
  • Manage reconciliations and conversions between IFRS and Local GAAP.
  • Oversee controls testing, balance sheet reconciliations, documentation, and remediation activities.
  • Drive cash flow forecasting and working-capital performance, including DSO targets.
  • Partner with Tax on VAT, corporate tax, 1099, and regulatory filings; manage internal and external audit relationships.
  • Analyze financial trends and variances to provide decision-making insights to Finance leadership.
  • Partner with operational leaders to optimize P2P and O2C processes and resolve service-delivery escalations.
  • Contribute to finance systems, standardization, and legal-entity rationalization initiatives.

Requirements

  • CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a global finance function.
  • Proven experience managing and developing direct reports.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of controlling processes and internal controls.
  • Ability to work across Local GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements.
  • Experience with statutory reporting, tax compliance, including GST and 1099s, and external audit management.
  • Experience leading finance process and system transitions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and remediate complex accounting issues.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including trend, variance, and anomaly analysis.
  • Collaborative leadership approach suited to a high-growth global environment.
