Description

  • Architect and develop multi-tenant cloud-native networking and security solutions for public, private cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Optimize traffic steering, policy orchestration, and security enforcement across cloud networking systems.
  • Develop high-speed telemetry and analytics solutions for network visibility and threat detection.
  • Build software to reduce cloud egress and gateway hosting costs while maintaining security and performance.
  • Develop cloud networking applications in Go and PHP for traffic management, security policy orchestration, network observability, and service chaining.
  • Define system designs, write and review code, and guide teams through delivery of production systems.
  • Integrate cloud-managed networking devices and SASE components into multi-deployment networking solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 7+ years focused on backend systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Staff, Principal, or Architect role with end-to-end ownership of architecture and delivery.
  • 5+ years of hands-on programming experience in Golang and PHP.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native NGFWs and network security appliances.
  • 5+ years of experience in Linux networking, including netfilter, iptables, nftables, DNS filtering, traffic shaping, and QoS.
  • 3+ years of experience with network security technologies such as DNS filtering, DPI, IDPS, anti-virus, and SSL Proxy.
  • 2+ years of experience with SASE components such as DLP, SWG, ZTNA, CASB, sandboxing, anti-malware, and anti-virus.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Linux userspace fast-path frameworks such as VPP and DPDK.
  • Preferred experience with fast path Linux kernel technologies such as eBPF, XDP, and AF_XDP.
  • Preferred experience with data-path multitenancy technologies such as VXLAN, Linux namespaces, and VRFs.
  • Preferred background in containerization and Kubernetes, including CNI selection, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Preferred familiarity with cloud-native networking frameworks such as Cilium and Calico.
  • Preferred working experience with ELK stack, Redis, Cassandra, and Kafka.
  • Preferred knowledge of CI workflows, testing tools, and Git.
  • Preferred experience with VPN technologies such as IPSec and WireGuard.
