Description

  • Assist in developing and executing SEO and AI Search Optimization (AISO/GEO) strategies that support business growth and brand objectives.
  • Conduct keyword, prompt, topic, competitor, and search intent research to identify opportunities across the customer journey.
  • Build and maintain organic search roadmaps aligned with company goals and content priorities.
  • Track emerging search trends, algorithm updates, and AI search developments to improve organic performance.
  • Monitor competitive search landscapes and recommend initiatives to increase visibility and share of voice.
  • Monitor Kapitus’ visibility across AI-powered search and answer platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude.
  • Evaluate how AI platforms represent the Kapitus brand, products, and expertise.
  • Create content briefs, outlines, optimization recommendations, and refresh plans for writers and subject matter experts.
  • Perform content gap analyses and recommend internal linking, content consolidation, refreshes, and performance improvements.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits, website health assessments, and recurring reporting to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Brand Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to integrate SEO and AI search best practices into content, PR, website, social media, and campaign initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7 years of experience in search optimization.
  • Experience with AI Search Optimization (AISO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of technical search principles and website architecture.
  • Experience conducting technical SEO audits and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of structured data and schema implementation.
  • Familiarity with digital PR, authority-building, and thought leadership programs.
  • Experience developing search-driven content strategies and detailed content briefs.
  • Experience with tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and GA4.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with content, web development, marketing, and agency partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Consideration for qualified remote candidates residing in states where Kapitus or a subsidiary has an established physical presence.
