Description

  • Partner with commercial, finance, and executive stakeholders to turn ambiguous business questions into scoped analytical problems.
  • Design and run experimental and quasi-experimental analyses to evaluate promotions, measure causal impact, and assess category economics.
  • Architect and maintain large commercial datasets using SQL, dbt, and BigQuery.
  • Build, deploy, and monitor market-share and demand forecasting models that inform high-value decisions.
  • Develop predictive models and performance metrics that guide field operations and sales manager time allocation.
  • Deploy LLMs and AI agents to classify unstructured commercial data such as receipts and transactions.
  • Build internal tools that improve data access and help stakeholders answer their own questions.
  • Support leadership with analysis on pricing, distribution, and investment decisions.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience building analysis and models in industry.
  • Strong analytical and statistical foundation.
  • Experience with experimental design and causal inference.
  • SQL expertise with the ability to write correct, efficient, and maintainable models.
  • Working fluency in Python for analysis, including pandas and related tools.
  • Ability to connect data to commercial reality and communicate findings effectively with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in using AI tools to increase productivity and build tools for others.
  • Preferred experience with commercial, retail, CPG, or syndicated market data such as Circana, NielsenIQ, IRI, POS, or scan data.
  • Preferred understanding of analytics engineering practices, including version control, testing, documentation, and codebase hygiene.
  • Preferred familiarity with Juul’s stack and the broader modern data ecosystem.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Preferred Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, math, computer science, or a similar discipline.
  • Must have authorization to work for Juul Labs in the US.
