Description

  • Work with customers and partners to understand use cases and pain points and turn insights into product solutions.
  • Evaluate existing subsystems and prioritize improvement opportunities based on business impact, customer value, and product vision.
  • Create clear functional design descriptions in collaboration with UX and engineering teams.
  • Define key metrics and monitor product adoption, user engagement, and feature impact.
  • Drive timely delivery of features while ensuring a high-quality user experience.
  • Maintain the product roadmap.
  • Track the competitive landscape and market trends to identify differentiation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success on product positioning, launch plans, go-to-market strategy, and adoption.
  • Represent YouTrack internally and externally through demos, presentations, webinars, customer meetings, and events.
  • Mentor product team members, share best practices, and help raise the overall bar for product management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience for B2B products.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and frameworks.
  • Proven ownership of a product or major product area through the full lifecycle from ideation to launch and optimization.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to derive insights from usage data, analytics, and user feedback.
  • Ability to balance technical complexity, usability, and business needs in prioritization and roadmap decisions.
  • Experience conducting user interviews and feedback sessions with customers.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to present to technical and business audiences.
  • Some written and spoken German is a plus.
  • Technical background in software development is a plus.
