Description

Write, modify, and debug software for client applications.
Translate design specifications into web or client applications that work across multiple devices.
Contribute to the design and architecture of the platform to meet business requirements.
Perform engineering-level testing to find defects, troubleshoot issues, and validate software fixes.
Work with Quality Assurance to deliver high-quality software.
Maintain thorough documentation of software solutions.
Assist with research and development efforts.
Recommend improvements to existing software programs and help ensure architectural consistency across the product.
Provide technical guidance to developers and management on architecture and infrastructure feasibility.
Support the team and customer-facing support staff in resolving difficult technical issues as needed.

Requirements

Experience writing C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PowerBuilder, or other programming languages.
Well versed in SQL and relational databases.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is required.
Experience developing multi-tier applications and web applications using .NET framework-based object-oriented technologies.
Programming experience with C# and ASP.NET is preferred.
Experience developing cross-browser web applications using HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Knowledge of responsive web design techniques and mobile-first concepts.
Experience with Twitter Bootstrap CSS Framework is a plus.
Knowledge of Agile or iterative development processes is a plus.
Higher education experience is a plus.
Experience with PowerBuilder, VB6, or administrative software is preferred.
Ability to estimate tasks and meet deadlines while working with minimal supervision in a team environment.
