Description

  • Design across the full Jeeves platform on mobile and desktop, with focus on core card, payments, and spend management flows.
  • Own design projects end to end, from problem framing and research through shipping and measuring outcomes.
  • Raise the quality, coherence, and usability of the core product experience by identifying UX debt and driving fixes.
  • Promote the product vision through design exploration, documentation, and presentations to leadership.
  • Use AI tools throughout the design workflow to explore directions, prototype earlier, and synthesize research faster.
  • Apply payments and fintech domain knowledge to design for complex financial workflows and AI-powered product experiences.
  • Use and extend the existing design system and standards across product surfaces.
  • Identify design gaps and inconsistencies at scale and drive systematic improvements.
  • Establish reusable design principles and patterns, including those for AI-driven features such as confidence, explainability, and human review.
  • Plan and run independent research, including recruiting participants when needed, and validate decisions with customers before and after launch.
  • Partner daily with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and product marketers to move work forward.
  • Influence design practices and team operations within a distributed global team, including AI adoption in design workflows.
  • Participate in cross-functional interviews and help raise the hiring bar.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional product design experience with senior-level scope on multiple high-impact projects.
  • Experience designing fintech, payments, or financial services products.
  • A portfolio showing end-to-end ownership, including problem framing, exploration, and shipped outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects independently in ambiguous environments without heavy direction.
  • Working fluency with AI tools in the design process for exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or documentation.
  • Experience working within and improving design systems at scale.
  • Hands-on research experience, including recruiting participants and synthesizing findings into design decisions.
  • Track record of close collaboration with product management and engineering through shipped work.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including networks, issuers, partners, and differentiation in the market (preferred).
  • Experience designing for B2B or finance-team users such as controllers, CFOs, and operations teams (preferred).
  • Experience designing AI-powered product experiences such as copilots, agents, or intelligent automation, with patterns for trust, explainability, and human oversight (preferred).
  • Experience working in a globally distributed product organization across time zones (preferred).
  • Experience mentoring other designers or shaping design team practices (preferred).
  • Native or professional English and Spanish, with Portuguese ability preferred.
