Description

  • Design across the full Jeeves platform on mobile and desktop, with emphasis on core card, payments, and spend management flows.
  • Own design projects end to end, from problem framing and solution exploration through shipping and measuring outcomes.
  • Elevate the craft and consistency of the core product experience by identifying UX debt and driving improvements.
  • Promote the product vision through design exploration, documentation, and presentations to leadership.
  • Use AI tools throughout the design workflow to explore directions, prototype earlier, synthesize research, and accelerate documentation.
  • Apply payments and fintech domain knowledge to design for complex financial workflows and AI-powered product experiences.
  • Use and extend Jeeves’s existing design system and standards.
  • Identify gaps and inconsistencies across product surfaces and drive systematic fixes.
  • Establish design principles and reusable patterns, including patterns for AI-driven features such as confidence, explainability, and human review.
  • Plan and run user research, including recruiting participants when needed, and validate design decisions before and after launch.
  • Advocate for the customer perspective across the company using evidence.
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, product marketers, and product leadership.
  • Influence design practices and team operations within a globally distributed team, including AI adoption in design workflows.
  • Participate in cross-functional interviews and help raise the design bar in hiring.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional product design experience with senior-level scope on multiple high-impact projects.
  • Experience designing for fintech, payments, or financial services products.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end ownership, including problem framing, exploration, and shipped outcomes.
  • Ability to drive projects forward independently in ambiguous environments with minimal direction.
  • Working fluency with AI tools in the design process, including exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or documentation.
  • Experience working within and improving design systems at scale.
  • Hands-on research experience, including recruiting participants and synthesizing findings into design decisions.
  • Track record of close collaboration with product and engineering teams through to shipped product.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including networks, issuers, and partners, preferred.
  • Experience designing for B2B or finance-team users such as controllers, CFOs, and ops teams, preferred.
  • Experience designing AI-powered product experiences such as copilots, agents, or intelligent automation, preferred.
  • Experience working in a globally distributed product organization across time zones, preferred.
  • Experience mentoring other designers or shaping design team practices, preferred.
  • Native or professional English and Portuguese, with Spanish preferred.
