Description

  • Design across the full Jeeves platform on mobile and desktop, with focus on core card, payments, and spend management flows.
  • Own projects end to end, from problem framing and solution exploration through shipping and measuring outcomes.
  • Identify UX debt in the core product experience and drive plans to improve quality and consistency.
  • Promote the product vision through design exploration, documentation, and presentations to leadership.
  • Use AI tools throughout the design workflow to explore directions, prototype earlier, and synthesize research faster.
  • Apply fintech and payments domain knowledge to design for complex multi-currency, multi-country financial workflows.
  • Use and extend the existing design system, identify gaps and inconsistencies, and drive systematic fixes.
  • Establish design principles and reusable patterns, including patterns for AI-driven features such as confidence, explainability, and human review.
  • Plan and run user research, including recruiting participants when needed, and validate design decisions before and after launch.
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, product marketers, and product leadership in a distributed global team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional product design experience with senior-level scope on multiple high-impact projects.
  • Experience designing for fintech, payments, or financial services products.
  • A portfolio that shows end-to-end ownership, including problem framing, exploration, and shipped outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects independently in ambiguous environments.
  • Working fluency with AI tools in the design process for exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or documentation.
  • Experience working within and improving design systems at scale.
  • Hands-on research experience, including recruiting participants and synthesizing findings into design decisions.
  • Track record of close collaboration with product and engineering through to shipped product.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Preferred: deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including networks, issuers, partners, and differentiation strategies.
  • Preferred: experience designing for B2B or finance-team users such as controllers, CFOs, and operations teams.
  • Preferred: experience designing AI-powered product experiences with trust, explainability, and human oversight in financial products.
  • Preferred: experience working in a globally distributed product organization across time zones.
  • Preferred: experience mentoring other designers or shaping design team practices.
  • Preferred: native or professional English and Spanish, with Portuguese ability preferred.
