Description

  • Design, build, and deliver complex Azure infrastructure projects that align with client business objectives.
  • Develop technical architectures for Azure cloud-based solutions and define implementation approaches.
  • Host technical workshops to gather requirements and present solution options to clients.
  • Prepare client-facing documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, developers, project managers, and business analysts to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Define data management and governance practices to support accuracy, security, and compliance within Microsoft technologies.
  • Identify performance, scalability, and cost optimization opportunities and implement improvements.
  • Participate in planning, review, retrospective, and peer review meetings, including sign-off on detailed designs.
  • Mentor other architects and engineers and share technical knowledge across the team.
  • Manage daily tasks across multiple projects and report time spent on work activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of senior-level experience with related technologies.
  • 7+ years of experience in a technical consulting role, including implementations.
  • Must be comfortable participating in client-facing meetings.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome difficult challenges.
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
  • Azure IaaS experience, including Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Azure Backup, Azure Networking, Azure Automation, ARM templates, JSON, Fabric Purview, and physical-to-virtual migrations (P2V).
  • Core data center skills including storage, networking, Windows Server administration, scripting, and automation.
  • Microsoft technical certification in 3-4 competency areas and advanced technical skill in 1-2 complimentary areas.
  • Experience with analytics and business intelligence tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure HDInsight, Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, or Azure Data Explorer.
  • Required certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate, and AZ-305 Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.
  • Preferred certifications: AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer Associate, AZ-700 Azure Network Associate, and DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer Associate.
  • Ability to sit and keyboard for 8 hours per day, with near vision, speaking, and hearing requirements for the role.
