Description

Lead end-to-end delivery of data platform initiatives with full ownership of quality and documentation.
Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and communicate scope changes or technical impacts proactively.
Work independently and escalate blockers with recommended solutions when needed.
Drive technical decisions and mentor peers on platform design and engineering best practices.
Represent the engineering team in cross-functional and stakeholder discussions.

Requirements

7+ years of data engineering experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise data warehouse platforms and/or data mesh architectures.
Strong experience with Snowflake.
Experience with Snowflake UniStore.
Experience with dbt Core and/or dbt Cloud.
Experience with Dagster or Airflow.
Proficiency in Python.
Advanced SQL skills.
Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
Experience with GitHub Actions.
Canadian resident only; location must be Canada.
Contract position.
