Description

  • Unify the Landing Page Builder group into a single team with shared priorities, a common sprint board, and one delivery cadence.
  • Implement Agile and Scrum practices that improve accountability, predictability, and team execution.
  • Own sprint planning discipline, including story sizing, commitments, burndown tracking, and retrospectives.
  • Build structured development plans and provide ongoing feedback to help engineers grow into expanded ownership and technical leadership roles.
  • Manage a hybrid team of full-time engineers and embedded vendor developers, including standards, knowledge transfer, and transition/offboarding planning.
  • Partner with the CTO to translate architectural direction into sprint-level work for the AI Builder initiative.
  • Balance delivery across the existing Builder and the AI Builder workstreams while managing prioritization tradeoffs.
  • Represent engineering in cross-functional planning discussions with Product and senior leadership.
  • Support the team through a legacy-to-modern product transition while continuing active maintenance and shipping new capabilities.

Requirements

  • 7–12 years of engineering experience.
  • 3+ years managing teams of 8 or more in a SaaS product environment.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams through a legacy-to-modern product transition with parallel workstreams and deprecation planning.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping AI-powered or agentic features in production that customers actively use.
  • Experience managing hybrid teams of full-time staff and embedded vendor or contractor developers.
  • Track record of developing senior engineers into technical leaders.
  • Strong modern engineering discipline, including Agile and Scrum, CI/CD maturity, code review culture, and predictable delivery.
  • Comfort working alongside a CTO with a clear division of responsibilities and the ability to push back credibly when needed.
  • Enough technical depth to make informed design decisions and read and reason about code.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML tooling in a product integration context.
