Description

  • Partner with Project Managers to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk from development through commercial operations.
  • Coordinate FEED studies from FEL 1–3 through IFC, including reviews of engineering deliverables, vendor submittals, and construction approaches.
  • Support EPC contract execution and manage day-to-day coordination with EPC contractors, consultants, and OEM vendors.
  • Execute first-of-a-kind technology pilots and test facilities to validate microgrid controls and de-risk gigawatt-scale deployments.
  • Manage physical and software integration of gas engines, gas turbines, BESS, MV switchgear, PDCs, load banks, and grid simulators.
  • Define pilot success criteria, analyze test results, and inform scale-up and capital investment decisions.
  • Track budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, procurement timelines, and critical equipment expediting.
  • Evaluate contractor change requests, negotiate scope and cost impacts, and maintain change and construction documentation.
  • Prepare executive dashboards and milestone reports identifying critical-path risks and mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of progressive project engineering or project management experience in utility-scale power generation, natural gas plants, oil and gas, or heavy energy infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ownership of project scope and experience delivering at least two full-lifecycle projects.
  • Experience across FEED/FEL 1–3 to IFC, permitting, EPC contracting, construction administration, commissioning, and handover.
  • Technical familiarity with gas turbines, natural gas reciprocating engines, BOP systems, MV switchgear, PDCs, load banks, and BESS/microgrid integration.
  • Ability to engage senior EPC contractor and OEM personnel in technical and commercial discussions.
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation.
  • Strong ownership, bias for action, and comfort operating amid ambiguity and accelerated delivery schedules.
  • Commitment to safety leadership, quality assurance, and collaborative execution.
  • Located within 60 miles of an Intersect hub in the SF Bay Area, NYC Metro Area, Denver, Austin, Calgary, or Toronto.

  • Total compensation of $118,750–$137,500 USD, including base salary and bonus.
