Description

  • Lead end-to-end projects across backend services, APIs, and data pipelines with minimal guidance.
  • Architect scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient systems for high-throughput marketing operations.
  • Design and improve abstractions, automation, and reusable components to simplify complex codebases.
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Product stakeholders to shape feature requirements and technical strategy.
  • Make technical trade-offs that balance complexity, business value, and delivery timelines.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and onboarding support.
  • Contribute to team productivity through process improvements and automation.
  • Build systems that support campaign feeds, audience targeting, event pipelines, QA automation, and third-party integrations.
  • Enable marketing campaign execution, conversion tracking, and reporting across multiple paid channels.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of software engineering experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python for scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
  • Proven experience leading complete projects end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, experimentation, and production rollout.
  • Deep expertise with Snowflake, SQL, ETL processes, Airflow, and DBT.
  • Experience designing for performance, scalability, and robustness.
  • Experience implementing observability solutions, including logging, metrics, and tracing.
  • Strong product thinking and ability to influence product direction.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience architecting automation frameworks and reusable abstractions is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Snapchat Ads, and conversion tracking is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing operations and performance marketing KPIs such as ROAS, LTV, CAC, and CPA is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization, chaos engineering, and disaster recovery planning is preferred.
  • Experience managing technical debt and leading legacy system modernization is preferred.
  • Experience with security-by-design principles and incident response is preferred.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for productivity improvements is preferred.
