Description

Build the internal ML/AI platform that supports training and deploying AI models across the organization.
Define and develop platform capabilities for AI model fine-tuning and batch inference.
Build SDKs and supporting infrastructure for specialized AI workloads.
Own platform-level tools and services with a high degree of responsibility.
Collaborate closely with seasoned engineers and leaders to drive use cases end to end.
Manage cross-cutting stakeholder relationships and prioritize customer needs.
Navigate ambiguous and technically complex problem spaces.
Maintain high standards for production services and support rapid delivery when needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
2 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
1 year of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership.
Strong proficiency in maintaining high standards for production services.
Experience with high-scale throughput and distributed systems problems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to contextualize problems across different audiences.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and involve the right stakeholders efficiently.
Experience building and shipping products to users is preferred.
Experience building platforms and high-scale infrastructure is preferred.
Prior experience working with AI platforms like Ray is a plus.

Base salary range of $230,000-$242,000 in CA, NY, CT, and NJ.
Base salary range of $220,000-$232,000 in WA.
Base salary range of $211,000-$222,000 in OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, and HI.
Base salary range of $192,000-$202,000 in all other states.
