Description

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions for marketplace and fulfillment challenges.
  • Work on order batching, shopper routing, service availability prediction, and real-time assignment problems.
  • Apply combinatorial optimization, mathematical programming, and AI to operational logistics problems.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and backend engineers to translate business needs into ML applications.
  • Partner with diverse stakeholders to ensure solutions are integrated and aligned with business goals.
  • Refine and improve algorithms and models to increase operational efficiency.
  • Build models and algorithms that improve profitability and shopper experience at scale.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Operations Research or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3+ years of industry experience using machine learning to solve real-world problems with large datasets.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with data manipulation tools such as SQL and Pandas.
  • Experience with machine learning tools such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, Keras, or TensorFlow.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks and methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience applying machine learning and optimization techniques to marketplace problems (preferred).

  • Base salary ranges from $173,000 to $218,500 USD depending on location.
