Description

  • Own analytical frameworks that guide product and business roadmaps.
  • Design rigorous experiments and interpret results to produce actionable conclusions.
  • Develop statistical models to measure results and predict future product performance.
  • Build simulations to estimate the impact of product and policy interventions.
  • Create dashboards and analytical tools that democratize data and support objective decision-making.
  • Apply causal inference, machine learning, systems modeling, and related methods to business problems.
  • Present findings to leadership and influence strategic decisions.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, ML, and other cross-functional teams to define requirements and shape roadmaps.
  • Lead measurement, forecasting, attribution, or experimentation work depending on the assigned team.
  • Identify high-impact opportunities and improve analytics workflows and tooling.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role at a product company or research organization.
  • Experience running rigorous experiments and generating scientifically sound recommendations.
  • Ability to write complex, efficient SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
  • Ability to write efficient code in Python or R.
  • Ability to translate business needs into analytical frameworks.
  • Desire to build and improve consumer software products.
  • Eagerness to learn, flexibility to pivot, and a growth mindset in a dynamic environment.
  • Awareness of business trade-offs in a multi-sided marketplace (preferred).
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders such as Product and Engineering (preferred).
  • MS or PhD in Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
