Description

Lead technical discovery, clarify requirements, and map current-to-target solution states.
Create architecture documentation, including diagrams, ADRs, and integration contracts.
Define service boundaries, APIs, data models, and cloud infrastructure as code.
Set and guide security, performance, reliability, and cost requirements for delivery teams.
Run technical spikes, unblock critical delivery paths, and review code and pull requests when needed.
Facilitate client workshops, present technical trade-offs, and translate architecture decisions into business outcomes.
Ensure solutions align with technical standards, security requirements, and budget constraints; identify risks early.
Support pre-sales through solution design, estimates, RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, and client presentations.

Requirements

6–10+ years of software engineering or architecture experience, including 2–4+ years as a Solution/Systems Architect or Tech Lead.
Experience with at least one modern backend stack: Java, Node.js, Python, or .NET, plus SPA frameworks.
Architecture experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with APIs, integrations, relational and NoSQL data modeling, and ETL/ELT patterns.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, and cloud cost/performance trade-offs.
Knowledge of modular or distributed monoliths, service-based architectures, microservices, caching, authentication/authorization, and secure design principles.
Ability to communicate clearly through technical writing, architecture diagrams, and client facilitation.
Pre-sales experience with scoping, estimation, SOW inputs, or RFP/RFI/RFQ responses (preferred).
Experience with DevSecOps, cost optimization, performance tuning, AI/ML or search/RAG integrations, or data governance/quality (preferred).
Experience leading small teams and mentoring engineers or architects (preferred).
