Description

  • Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and validation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate discussions with clients, stakeholders, users, and internal teams to analyze and document functionality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine requirements, capture assumptions, and align on project goals.
  • Lead the creation of Business Requirements Specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support QA by developing test cases and assisting with testing to refine requirements.
  • Own the process of measuring, reporting, and meeting requirements.
  • Recommend product roadmap changes based on evolving requirements.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and subject matter expertise within the team.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level team members and contribute to hiring and performance management.
  • Design and lead process improvements using industry best practices and automation where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Relevant business analyst credentials or certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or Agile.
  • Proficiency in requirements management methodologies for digital product development, such as BABOK.
  • Experience creating and maintaining requirements, user acceptance testing strategies, and maintenance documentation.
  • Experience using digital development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
  • Experience with web products built on a variety of platforms.
  • Ability to lead client, stakeholder, and user-facing discussions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and succinctly.
  • Experience working with federal, state, or local government agencies, including legacy system analysis and modernization of citizen-facing services.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, including inter-agency coordination, regulatory compliance, and public sector governance models.
  • Experience translating policy, legislative, or operational mandates into actionable system requirements and digital workflows.
  • Familiarity with documenting business processes and functional specifications for government digital services such as case management, licensing, or application processing systems.
  • Ability to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
