Description

  • Own the technical direction of frontend architecture across Vue.js applications.
  • Design and evolve the micro frontend architecture.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using Vue.js, including Vue 3, Composition API, and Pinia/Vuex.
  • Write reusable, well-tested code and build scalable frontend components.
  • Lead technical decision-making by writing RFCs, running architectural reviews, and setting frontend standards.
  • Improve the performance, scalability, and availability of frontend systems.
  • Troubleshoot interface software and debug application code.
  • Lead, manage, and grow a team of frontend engineers through 1:1s, reviews, career development, and goal setting.
  • Mentor engineers across seniority levels and support their technical and career growth.
  • Participate in hiring, roadmap planning, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and capacity allocation.
  • Track team health metrics and represent the frontend team to senior leadership.
  • Drive cross-team alignment with product managers, designers, backend leads, QA, and SRE.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional frontend development experience, including 2+ years in a Lead, Tech Lead, or Staff-level role.
  • Deep expertise in Vue.js, including Vue 2 and Vue 3, Composition API, Vuex/Pinia, and Vue Router.
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES2020+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Hands-on experience with Frontend DevOps tools and workflows such as Vite, Webpack, NPM/Yarn, Babel, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid testing experience with Jest, Vitest, or Cypress.
  • Experience building and scaling micro frontend architectures in production.
  • Experience leading performance optimization initiatives such as Core Web Vitals, bundle size, and runtime performance.
  • Experience developing and testing across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, with strong responsive design and cross-browser compatibility knowledge.
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience, including 1:1s, performance reviews, and hiring decisions.
  • Proven mentoring and stakeholder management experience, with the ability to present to executives and work effectively in agile planning environments.
  • Excellent written and spoken English at B2+ / Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
  • Self-motivated, organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently across multiple teams.
  • Empathy, emotional intelligence, and a service-oriented leadership style.
  • Interest in staying current with emerging technologies and bringing them to the team.
