Description

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large healthcare datasets including medical claims/encounter data, pharmacy data, and patient registries.
  • Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to assess healthcare utilization patterns, treatment effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and patient outcomes.
  • Design and execute HEOR studies in collaboration with internal teams and external clients, ensuring alignment with research objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate comprehensive reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate findings to decision-makers and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Adhere to data privacy and regulatory guidelines to ensure ethical and secure handling of sensitive healthcare information.
  • Support business growth by developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Monitor emerging trends, methodologies, and best practices in HEOR and healthcare data analytics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Formal training in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, health economics, public health, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Health Economics, Statistics, Operational Research, Mathematics, Data Science, Biostatistics, or Epidemiology preferred.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare data analysis, preferably within HEOR, medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology settings.
  • Proficiency with statistical software such as SAS, R, STATA, or Python, including data manipulation, regression analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with healthcare databases and coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS).
  • Experience or knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid data preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex healthcare data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
