Description

  • Build, hire, develop, and lead a team of AI Forward Deployed Engineers with healthcare domain expertise.
  • Define the AI FDE operating model, engagement patterns, delivery standards, career paths, and performance metrics.
  • Own end-to-end success of AI deployments for healthcare customers from discovery through production.
  • Partner directly with healthcare executives and stakeholders, including CIOs, CMIOs, CTOs, clinical leaders, data leaders, and operations leaders.
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for complex AI delivery, data, and adoption issues.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership for agentic AI architectures and healthcare use cases.
  • Drive adoption of modern agentic AI, orchestration, and tool-using frameworks in customer solutions.
  • Ensure AI agents are designed with guardrails, human-in-the-loop workflows, explainability, auditability, and healthcare-grade observability.
  • Translate customer-specific healthcare AI solutions into reusable Gravity platform capabilities and influence the AI roadmap.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Privacy teams to support HIPAA-aligned deployments and capture learnings from the field.

Requirements

  • 12–18+ years of experience in software engineering, applied AI, customer engineering, or platform delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience working with health systems, payers, or life sciences organizations.
  • Experience with clinical, operational, or analytics workflows in healthcare.
  • Experience with healthcare data platforms or health IT systems.
  • Proven experience building and leading customer-facing engineering teams.
  • Deep hands-on understanding of LLMs and agentic AI systems.
  • Strong familiarity with agentic and orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, n8n, Temporal, and similar tools.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architectures.
  • Experience deploying AI solutions in production in regulated healthcare environments.
  • Executive presence and the ability to engage CIOs, CMIOs, CTOs, and other healthcare executives.
  • Ability to balance speed of execution with healthcare-grade rigor and compliance.
  • Preferred: experience with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, C-CDA, and claims.
  • Preferred: familiarity with HIPAA, data governance, and healthcare privacy and security requirements.
  • Preferred: experience scaling early AI solutions into repeatable healthcare platform capabilities.
  • Preferred: background in customer-embedded engineering, applied AI, or solutions architecture roles.
