Description

  • Manage the end-to-end development of projects according to established business processes.
  • Serve as the internal contact and operational partner for account teams and the broader development team.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering marketing programs from brainstorming through execution.
  • Play a key role in decisions involving process, project resources, budgets, and schedules.
  • Present the agency’s capabilities and processes internally and externally.
  • Ensure projects follow required processes and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify resource needs, coordinate with resourcing management, and help prioritize workloads across project managers.
  • Assess project feasibility based on scope and training in partnership with internal teams.
  • Identify, mitigate, and course-correct risks that could affect project success.
  • Create project milestones, detailed schedules, estimates, and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with account services and finance to resolve budget issues and keep projects on track.
  • Co-lead client status calls and communicate project status, budget, and timelines to clients and partners.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of project management experience working with creative teams.
  • Experience in a marketing agency or pharmaceutical marketing environment.
  • Experience managing budgets, developing timelines, and creating status agendas.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams of 10 to 15 people across disciplines such as strategic services, creative services, technology services, event planning, print production, and finance.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to keep projects on time and on budget.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfort working in a remote role or hybrid schedule out of the San Francisco office.
  • Experience motivating teams to make decisions and commit to deadlines and deliverables.
  • Bachelor’s degree or other formal education is not specified in the posting.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements is preferred given the role’s compliance focus.
