Description

Conduct age-appropriate histories and virtual examinations.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespan.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
Develop and document treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients.
Request consultations or referrals when appropriate.
Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans.
Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based care.
Provide cross-coverage support such as reviewing lab results.
Work scheduled evening and weekend shifts as assigned.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner program, with prior graduation from an accredited nursing school.
Active Nurse Practitioner license and maintained Registered Nurse licensure in accordance with state requirements.
Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
Active RN compact license.
Active multi-state licensure, with 5+ state licenses preferred.
3+ years of post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings.
Experience caring for newborn through adult populations.
Ability to function within an integrated medical practice.
Strong clinical acumen with ability to manage a broad range of conditions.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills.
Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records.
Active Medicare status and good standing with Medicare/Medicaid; not excluded from federal health programs.
Prior telemedicine or video-based virtual care experience preferred.
Experience with Athena EMR preferred.
Must be available for part-time work (20 hours/week) with shifts scheduled between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Required to work every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts per year.
Candidates residing in CA, NY, GA, TN, IL, NV, MO, AL, SC, IN, MI, OR, MA, MS, AK, DC, or HI are not considered.

Benefits

$59.13–$65.04/hr average pay.
Additional productivity incentive opportunities for exceeding visit targets.
Part-time schedule with 20 hours per week minimum.
Remote virtual care work environment.
