Description

  • Build and evolve member-facing web applications focused on usability, accessibility, performance, and reliability.
  • Own projects end to end, from problem definition and technical design through iterative delivery and outcome measurement.
  • Contribute to frontend applications, APIs, backend services, data flows, and partner integrations.
  • Define frontend architecture, including state management, reusable components, testing, observability, and performance practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Clinical, and engineering teams to simplify complex healthcare workflows.
  • Improve developer experience through tooling, documentation, testing, workflows, and engineering standards.
  • Adopt AI-assisted coding practices while maintaining code quality, security, and sound engineering judgment.
  • Participate in technical planning, design and code reviews, incident follow-up, and reliability improvements.
  • Mentor engineers and promote collaboration, learning, ownership, and direct feedback.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production web applications.
  • Deep frontend expertise with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern framework such as React.
  • Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, state management, component design, browser behavior, performance, accessibility, and testing.
  • Experience building responsive, accessible, and reliable customer-facing experiences.
  • Full-stack experience with APIs, backend services, data flows, and service integrations.
  • Experience driving projects from concept through production in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Strong product instincts and experience partnering effectively with Product and Design.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to explain technical tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic, collaborative approach with strong ownership and delivery focus.
