Description

  • Drive insight generation for complex projects independently and with cross-functional partners.
  • Develop models of cost and quality for navigation and match services.
  • Identify opportunities to improve member engagement and navigation to drive better outcomes at lower cost.
  • Analyze how products are used and surface opportunities to better serve member needs.
  • Prototype new approaches to measuring or inferring product and business performance.
  • Scale the impact of data science work to support more members.
  • Frame ambiguous problems, define success metrics, and deliver clear recommendations that influence decisions.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, clinical, operations, and finance teams on business decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in highly quantitative roles, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and advanced degrees.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex quantitative findings in clear, business-oriented narratives.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience designing and analyzing product experiments, including A/B testing, success metrics, and result interpretation.
  • Ability to independently drive results on complex, ambiguous projects with a major quantitative component.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Previous experience in digital health or a high-growth startup is preferred.
  • Experience building internal tools or infrastructure for machine learning experimentation and deployment is preferred.
  • Experience developing data products leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) is preferred.
