Description

  • Plan and update French courses to deliver an engaging curriculum that improves students' language level in real-world contexts.
  • Teach French using a structured curriculum tailored to immigration, study, and business needs.
  • Plan and help create teaching and learning materials.
  • Assess students' French levels and learning needs through testing and evaluation.
  • Prepare students for official international French language tests.
  • Assess each student's language level and provide interview preparation when needed.
  • Plan lessons according to course objectives and student progress reports.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to speak, reflect, cooperate, and lead.
  • Track progress and meet individually with students to review advancement and specific needs.
  • Develop students' vocabulary for formal and informal situations through dialogues, discussions, and role plays.
  • Support students in self-correction and provide feedback that builds confidence in using French.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both French and Spanish.
  • Professional foreign language teaching degree or foreign language teaching certificate.
  • Experience teaching individual and group classes.
  • Experience teaching online and in person.
  • Ability to work with learners from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and language levels.
  • Experience preparing students for official international language tests.
  • Experience assessing learners' language needs and progress.
  • Ability to prepare students for job interviews when necessary.
