Description

  • Own the media plan, channel mix, and paid revenue goals for assigned accounts.
  • Drive revenue and contribution margin outcomes and accountability for acquisition targets.
  • Collaborate with search strategists, account directors, creative teams, and media buyers on cross-channel planning and execution.
  • Translate account objectives into channel briefs and review campaign setups before launch.
  • Serve as the paid social lead in client meetings and explain performance or strategy changes.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify budget reallocation opportunities, and recommend changes proactively.
  • Own social channel strategy, including platform selection, audience strategy, bidding, and campaign architecture.
  • Develop creative testing roadmaps and work with creative teams to produce and evaluate ad concepts.
  • Review buyer performance regularly and direct corrective actions when needed.
  • Document performance learnings and share insights across accounts.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on paid social strategy experience, primarily for ecommerce businesses.
  • Deep expertise in Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and working knowledge of at least one additional social platform such as TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, or LinkedIn.
  • Agency experience managing multiple client relationships and competing priorities.
  • Daily use of LLMs/AI tools to accelerate analysis, reporting, and strategy work, with workflows you can demonstrate.
  • Proven track record of driving profitable growth and owning revenue and contribution margin outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce unit economics and measurement frameworks, including contribution margin, MER, blended ROAS, CAC, and LTV:CAC.
  • Experience with incrementality testing and daily/weekly incrementality analysis.
  • Experience building, managing, and owning media plans with budget allocation and pacing accountability.
  • Experience briefing and directing media buyers and holding execution to standard.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and analytical rigor for presenting account health and strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency with analytics platforms such as GA4, Northbeam, and Triple Whale.
  • Working knowledge of ecommerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
  • Comfort managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of paid search, B2B lead generation, Google Ads, TikTok, YouTube, attribution modeling, or platform certifications is preferred.
  • Experience coaching junior team members or working cross-functionally as peers is preferred.
